We offer many in house treatments for relief and management of various neurological conditions. Below is a sampling of some of the treatments available in our office.
Botulinum Toxin Treatment
(Chemodenervation)
Our Practitioners have more than a decade of experience in the neurological uses of botulinum toxins. These botulinum toxins are also know by trademark names of Botox, or Xeomin. While this is a popular cosmetic treatment, it is also very effective in the treatment of muscle spasms and spasticity resulting from conditions such as stroke, MS, head and neck pain.
Nerve Block and/or Trigger Point Injections
Both Nerve Block and Trigger Point Injections have been known to help patients manage chronic pain for many conditions. Trigger Point Injections are used to treat painful areas of muscle or knots of muscle that form when the muscles do not relax. Nerve blocks target nerves or groups of nerves that cause discomfort.
Infusion Therapy
There are various medications that can be administered in our outpatient infusion center. These medications will be determined by the Neurologist, who is treating your condition, and administered by our trained registered nurses. There is always a Neurologist in the building if needed.
